Lovely Valley Truffles

Lovely Valley Truffle Farm, located in the Fleurieu Peninsula region, is a delightful destination just an hour's drive from Adelaide, South Australia. Owners Greg and Jayne started this venture as a hobby in 2012, hand-planting their first 50 inoculated trees, including English Oak, French Oak, and Hazelnut varieties. For the initial two years, these trees were lovingly hand-watered with rainwater.Seven years later, the farm's journey took an exciting turn when Adelaide Hills Truffle Dogs, now known as Detection Dogs SA, conducted their first truffle hunt. To everyone's delight, the trained dogs successfully unearthed the coveted black truffles, often referred to as "black gold."
