About the Fleurieu Food Festival

The Fleurieu Food Festival is a month-long celebration of food, wine and agritourism, held each August across the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia.

Just south of Adelaide, the Fleurieu Peninsula is one of the state’s most diverse food and wine regions spanning coastal towns, rolling farmland, vineyards, orchards and small regional communities. The region includes McLaren Vale, Victor Harbor, Yankalilla, Strathalbyn and the Adelaide Hills fringe, and is home to a rich network of producers, growers, winemakers, distillers and hospitality venues.

Visitors can expect:

  • Long lunches and seasonal dining experiences

  • Wine tastings, cellar door events and distillery experiences

  • Farm tours and paddock-to-plate experiences

  • Hands-on workshops and masterclasses

  • Markets, pop-ups and relaxed community events

A Festival Built on Collaboration

The Fleurieu Food Festival is a collaborative, region-wide initiative, bringing together local businesses, tourism operators and industry partners to create a unified campaign that showcases the best of the region.

Because when the region works together, it attracts more visitors, creates more opportunities, and delivers greater impact for everyone involved.
